The United States Junior Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1915 by Henry Giessenbier, a young St. Louis bank clerk who wanted to provide young professionals with an opportunity for personal development through service to others. As a member of the Savannah Jaycees, you also become a member of the state, national, and international Jaycee organization. Your opportunities for growth and development are unlimited!
The Jaycee membership consists of men and women between the ages of 21 and 39. We offer a chance to meet new friends, individual development through leadership training, and several opportunities throughout the year to become actively involved in your community.
Regular meetings are held twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesday, at the Jaycee building located at 101 Atlas Street in Savannah. The doors open at 6:00 pm and the meeting gets started at 6:30 pm.
Topics at recent program meetings have included financial planning, car maintenance, career counseling, and environmental awareness. We encourage you to bring your passion and ideas!!
We have monthly off-site membership development events, a chance to unwind with your friends and explore some new venues around town. Be sure and check our upcoming events page so you don't miss out!!
Contact us if you would like to rent our building for a special occasion. Our building is perfect for: Christmas Parties, Birthday Parties, Class Reunions, Barbeques, Classes, Wedding Receptions, Work Retreats, Media Events, Union Meetings, Political Events, the list goes on and on...
The building is centrally located near Derenne and Abercorn, with easy access to Midtown and the South Side. The building is located in a park in a pleasant residential neighborhood.

Tables and chairs to seat 50 people at a time, comfortably
